1978- GM introduces its mid-size metric (G) frame. 1988- GM ends production of its metric (G) frame. 2006- Morin Performance proposes a metric (G) frame replacement for the first time to the Autodrome St-Eustache (ASE) officials for their Nascar Protruck division. 2008- ASE officials approve Morin Performance’s metric frame replacement. 2009- 18 teams (out of 25) from the Nascar Sportsman division make the switch for a Morin Performance metric frame replacement. The conveniency of the tubular construction of its replacement frame brings Morin Performance’s team a ton of positive comments from drivers and crews.
